Having just unwrapped the LG G Watch R, it seems that the company's German PR has accidentally let slip the smartwatch's price.
An official German press release has outed the cost as 299 Euros, which converts to about £237/$394/AU$420.
Those are direct conversions so don't expect them to be entirely accurate, but we reckon we're in the right ball park. 100 Euros more than the existing G Watch feels about right, considering that the R is clearly a more premium bit of tech.
You spin me right round, baby right round
Most notably, this one comes with a 1.3-inch circular, plastic OLED display, but the guts themselves are the same as the G Watch: 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage.
It appears the accidental price leak has now been removed from the press release, but we expect that we may hear something more official at IFA 2014, which kicks off in just a matter of hours.
