Ted Lasso season 2 episode 2 is due to launch on Friday, July 30. The latest season in the hit TV show arrived last week and, based on how its first episode went, there'll be plenty of ups and downs for AFC Richmond again this season.
Episode 1 of season 2 posted the biggest premiere viewing figures that Apple TV Plus has ever seen, so interest was clearly high in its return.
That episode – Goodbye, Earl – introduced viewers to Doctor Sharon Fieldstone, who seems to be taking the limelight away from Ted (Jason Sudeikis) with her methods. Meanwhile, we saw what Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster) and Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) are up to following their respective Richmond departures, so we'll see how their new careers continue to play out in episode 2.

When is Ted Lasso season 2 episode 2 coming to Apple TV Plus?
Ted Lasso season 2 episode 2 should arrive on Apple TV Plus on Friday, July 30 at 12AM ET / 5AM BST. For US citizens on the Pacific coast, the next episode should be released at 9PM PT on Thursday, July 29.
Our Apple TV Plus press contact confirmed that while "our episodes usually launch very early in the morning, we don’t confirm timings". Season 2 premiered at the times listed above, so you can expect episode 2 to do so, too.
Viewers on the US east coast, as well as UK and European fans, will have to stay up late (or get up early) to catch the next instalment. Those on the US west coast, though, should be able to watch it before they head to bed.
As a title, Lavender doesn't appear to give much away, but there is a reason why episode 2 has been given such a name.

Ted Lasso season 2 full release schedule
Much like Disney Plus' TV show release schedule, Apple is adopting a weekly episodic launch for Ted Lasso season 2.
That means that there'll only be one episode per week, so Ted Lasso season 2 won't be released all at once.
Some fans may want to wait until the entire season is available to binge it all at once. If you do, though, you'll run the risk of having it spoiled for you.
