BT deals for BT TV customers

BT Sport deals are available as an add-on to a BT TV package as well as an extra to BT Broadband deals. Keep scrolling to see how much this would cost you per month, and if you are looking for the cheapest price possible then your best bet is to get prices direct from BT rather than going through third parties like Sky and Virgin Media.

BT Sport pack | 18 months | £10 pm with BT TV
If you already have BT Broadband and BT TV (even the basic TV package), it's super easy to add BT Sport to your setup for only £10 extra a month. Although you don't necessarily need to be a BT customer, you can only add this for £10 a month if you have BT TV. If you have BT Broadband make sure you check the deal below, and if you are a new customer the BT Sport pack starts at £29.99 a month.

BT Sport app/streaming access | 18 months | £16 pm (if you have BT broadband)
If you have BT broadband, but don't have BT TV, you can still access BT Sport via the online player and BT Sport app. This costs £16 a month which is a bit more than if you had BT TV, but given the channels you get with BT Sport and the current sporting events coming up (Champions League, etc) - this is a pretty good deal.

How much are BT Sport deals on Sky?

Luckily, rather than put up a wall between their customers, BT and Sky have reached an agreement allowing existing Sky customers access to BT Sport too. That means they'll have the most comprehensive sports coverage in the UK. Sky customers will have to set this up through BT though rather than Sky.

The options are simple though and BT's website will walk you through the steps, We've included links below and we'll talk you through the various options and how much they cost too.

BT Sport Pack on Sky | 12 months | £20 activation fee |£29.99 pm
Unless you have BT broadband, this is the cheapest way Sky TV customers can get BT Sport on their TV. This includes the entire suite of BT Sports channels in standard definition. This is a flat rate for the contract and there is also a £20 activation fee.

BT Sport Pack HD on Sky | 12 months | £20 activation fee | £36.49 pm (£29.99 for the first three months)
What we love about the HD pack is that you can get the pack FREE for the first three months and only start paying on month four. And let's be honest, non-HD matches and games on modern TVs is far from ideal. So if you want to avoid that pixelated look (Snobs? Us?) then this BT Sport deal deal gives you the range of channels in shiny high-definition.  On the plus side, this is only £6.50 more a month than the standard definition package!

BT Sport Pack HD on Sky | 1 month (rolling) | £35 activation fee | £29.99pm
And the other option Sky customers have is a one-month rolling contract. However, this is only available in SD and the activation fee is £15 more than the other contracts too. The plus side of all of this is that your contract just rolls over each month, meaning you can cancel whenever you want. Not to mention, that if you're only interested in a few specific sport events coming up this may be the best option to save money.

How can I get BT Sport deals on Virgin Media?

Not a BT customer nor want to be? The good news is you don't have to sign up to BT Broadband to get a slice of this cake as BT is keen to let its rivals pay them to let you in on the action too.

There are a few Virgin broadband with BT Sport packages to choose from, sadly they don't include the cheapest Virgin deals. On the plus side you're getting the shiny HD versions of the BT Sports channels in all of them, keep reading to see what the deals are.

And if none of these deals are what you're looking for, make sure you check out our best Virgin broadband deals guide.

Virgin Media | Bigger bundle | 213Mb avg speed | 12 months | £35 setup fee  | £57 45pm
In addition to all BT Sports channels in HD, you're getting up to 213Mb fibre broadband, which is more than enough for most households. This bundle also comes with Virgin TV V6 box with over 227 channels that can be paused, rewound and recorded! Although we don't have an exact date for when this ends we can't imagine it would stick around for much longer.

Virgin Media | Ultimate Oomph Bundle | 350Mb avg speed | 12 months | £35 setup fee |£139 £79pm
This is Virgin's ultimate deal with the best of everything. You're getting a huge 500Mb broadband, all BT Sports, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema channels in HD, two Virgin TV boxes and over 260 channels. Not to mention you're getting an unlimited 4G SIM and inclusive anytime calls, the 500Mb broadband is pretty impressive too - it's ideal for busier households!

Virgin Media | TV only | Maxit TV | 12 months | £35 activation fee | £53pm
We understand that you might not want everything including landline and broadband in your bundle so this is perfect for customers looking for TV only services. It's not very cheap but it's more affordable than the other options and you're still getting over 230 channels, including Fox, Sky One and many more!

What's on BT Sport?

The BT Sport Pack includes BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2, BT Sport 3 and BT Sport ESPN, you can also get these in HD for an extra cost (or for free depending on what deal you select).

Across these channels you'll find every Champions League match live, so to answer your question yes, you most certainly can watch the Champions League on BT Sport.

Meaning you get to watch all the games from the comfort of your home, without wrestling with people in a pub to get a seat closer to the TV. And don't forget there's a selection of Premier League matches every week.

Any UFC or boxing fans out there? BT has got much of that action locked down, too - with exclusive rights to all UFC and hosting some of the globe's biggest boxing bouts on BT Box Office.

Not to mention that you can stream the Rugby Aviva Premiership, European Rugby Union, Moto GP and much more.

Where can I access the BT Sports schedule?

It's super simple, just head over to BT's website, click Sport and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and select TV guide and voila, you're set to go! Can't find it? You can always click here to go to BT's TV guide directly.
