Tracking down that elusive web page or niche website could soon be a lot easier thanks to a new update coming to Google Chrome.
The browser has announced a new shortcut that will allow desktop users to search through their history and web bookmarks directly from the Chrome address bar.
Users will now be able to search by typing in the shortcut @bookmarks to look through pages they have saved already, or @history to open up a search of their most recently-visited web pages.

The new addition was spotted by 9to5Google in the beta for ChromeOS 106, which should be rolling out to users within the next few weeks.
Along with bookmarks and web history, users will also be able to search through their open tabs by typing in @tabs. Entering any kind of @-query and then a space will change the field to help display the results.
When searching through web history or bookmarks, users simply need to press enter to go straight to the result, whereas for tabs, if there is only one matching result, the user will be taken straight there.
The launch is the latest Google Chrome update released by the company as it continues to improve and tweak the browser for users everywhere.
It follows the recent unveiling of a new feature known as “Freeze Dried Tabs”, which stores tabs as “interactive snapshots” meaning that they can be loaded and displayed much faster.
Google claims that the new feature, which improves upon the previous method of displaying unloaded pages (via screenshots) by allowing users to click links and scroll across the entire length of pages before they are fully loaded, provides a “20% perceptible speedup” in cold startups of the browser on Android devices.
The browser also recently updated its picture-in-picture mode to include non-video content for the first time, giving a boost to those users who love having multiple windows open at once.
Oracle NetSuite has announced an expansion of its business management platform that should help streamline the arduous accounts payable (AP) process for customers.
At SuiteWorld 2022, its latest annual conference, the company unveiled NetSuite AP Automation, which it describes as “the only solution that embeds banking services into a cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) system”.
The objective is to make it simpler and quicker to process bills and execute vendor payments from within NetSuite, thereby taking the pain out of one of the most time-consuming accounting tasks.
Automating AP
Speaking to TechRadar Pro and other media ahead of the conference, NetSuite explained its new automation service will help accelerate a number of different steps in the AP process.
For example, courtesy of object detection and character recognition systems, AP Automation is capable of scanning vendor bills and plugging the relevant data directly into the platform, improving error rates by eliminating manual data entry.
Separately, the service is able to cross-reference bills with information on unit pricing and quantity to ensure customers are not overpaying or paying twice for a product or service. And an automated alert system will ensure the relevant approver is reminded well in advance of the due date, avoiding late payment charges.
An extended partnership with HSBC, meanwhile, allows for payments to be processed and reconciled automatically, while a new virtual credit card option will allow customers to earn cashback rewards on qualifying transactions.
“Accounts payable plays an important role in helping organisations manage cash flow, control costs and maintain strong relationships with vendors, but all too often the process is slow, tedious, and error-prone,” added Evan Goldberg, founder of Oracle NetSuite, in a statement.
“By simplifying and automating the entire bill payment process – from data capture to payment and reconciliation – NetSuite AP Automation eliminates these challenges. This helps businesses streamline and improve a key operation, empowering AP teams to operate more efficiently and ultimately reduce costs.”
NetSuite AP Automation is now available in the US, with the first 1,000 customers set to benefit from a 50% discount. TechRadar Pro is awaiting confirmation of the availability in other regions.
In the 75-second long video, Reynolds and Jackman mainly explain how Wolverine will make the jump to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The response comes after fans questioned how the clawed superpowered being can exist in Marvel's cinematic juggernaut, what with him dying in 2017's Logan. That flick was Jackman's supposedly final appearance as Wolverine and one of the last X-Men movies that Fox produced.
"Rest assured, we're going to answer all of them [your questions]," Jackman says. "For example, how is Wolverine alive after Logan?"
As Reynolds quickly explains, Logan takes place in 2029 in a separate timeline to the MCU's increasingly convoluted timeline. "Logan died in Logan, [so] we're not touching that," Reynolds adds, before the Free Guy star begins to open up on the plot of Deadpool 3.
Or so it would seem. As Reynolds and Jackman begin to outline the story, Wham's Wake Me Up Before You Go Go starts playing over the top, meaning we don't actually get to hear what the pair discuss. It's a typically droll, bait and switch-style video from Reynolds and company. As the audio returns, the pair thank Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige for the opportunity before a montage of images showing their friendship down the years brings the footage to an end.
Given the technology available to audio experts in the present, we wouldn't be surprised if someone tries to – and successfully – isolates Reynolds and Jackman's conversation to hear what they actually say. Full transparency: we'd be amazed if the duo actually say anything spoiler-y or significant about Deadpool 3's narrative.

Before yesterday's announcement, we'd known that Deadpool 3 was coming and that it would be the first R-rated MCU film. Feige confirmed this in January 2021. But, apart from some brief updates from Reynolds and the movie's writers – Rhett Rheese and Paul Wernick – there had been very little new information about how development on Deadpool 3 was progressing.
Marvel fans had been disappointed about Deadpool 3's no show at D23 Expo 2022. Now, though, we've learned about Jackman's involvement and the superhero film's release date. It's coming September 6, 2024, meaning Deadpool's MCU debut will either book end Phase 5 or kick off Phase 6 instead of Marvel's Fantastic Four film reboot.
Jackman's involvement in Deadpool 3 came just hours before news about another MCU movie – Marvel Studios' Blade – revealed that the vampire superhero's flick had hit multiple snags in its own development. It's unclear if the Phase 5 film is in serious jeopardy or not, but it doesn't seem like it'll make its November 3, 2023 theatrical launch date at this rate.

Netflix executives have canceled Grendel, a new big-budget adaptation of the hit Dark Horse comicbook series, before the show has even finished production.
Despite the fact that the show, which was given an eight-episode order in September of 2021, had completed the bulk of its filming, Netflix's executives have pulled the plug on the show.
Grendel is based on Matt Wagner's much-acclaimed comic series and follows Hunter Rose, a successful writer who is driven to a life of masked vigilantism in the murky criminal underworld of New York City after the death of his girlfriend. However, despite enjoying some success in his quest for revenge, he quickly realizes that the underworld presents an opportunity and plots to take over the whole thing.
Newcomer Abubakr Ali had been cast as Rose with Jaime Ray Newman, Julian Black Antelope, Madeline Zima, Kevin Corrigan, Emma Ho, Erik Palladino, Brittany Allen and Andy Mientus also in the cast.
The show was due to be another installment from Netflix's first-look deal with Dark Horses comics, which has thus far included the Mads Mikkelsen-powered thriller Polar, animated show Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles, and, most successfully, The Umbrella Academy.
Reports about the cancelation have no details on why Netflix executives decided to call time on the show now, with no reports of poorly received footage or spiraling costs or any of the usual reasons the plug gets pulled.
Analysis: Netflix's cost-cutting continues
While everyone is remaining tight-lipped thus far, something has clearly gone wrong with Grendel to necessitate Netflix's top brass calling time on the production before its even finished filming.
Netflix's tie-up with Dark Horse still has six other adaptations in development, and there's no indication that's going to change with this announcement. The Umbrella Academy is ending, but only after one final season in 2023. As well as that, Netflix's tie-ups with Image Comics and Millarworld also look set to deliver more shows and movies in 2023 and beyond, so the streaming giant isn't turning its back on comics.
A new update to popular graphic design software CorelDRAW Graphics Suite delivers a slate of new tools and templates to streamline the creative process, the company has said.
Coinciding with the recent rebranding of Corel Corporation to Alludo, the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite update also introduces improvements pulled straight from user requests.
But the update isn’t for everyone - only subscribers can access the new creative tools, as lifetime license holders can only access the 2021 version of the design software.
What’s new in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite?
Creative design templates and practice projects are the first major additions to the bountiful graphics suite - which bundles a photo editor with drawing software, DTP software, and more. Alludo hopes these will help unlock the creative process for more users, and improve skills.
For content creators seeking faster turnarounds, the new Export workflow has been streamlined and simplified, allowing for speedier outputs. The update also unleashes a new scaling tool, built for precision and flexibility.
Developers even lifted several enhancements directly from user-requests (via an Alludo-run forum). Chief among these are WebP file support and unspecified performance improvements.
“The latest updates simplify the design process, making it easier for anyone to unlock the power of creativity and produce stunning results. We want to empower designers to be successful sooner with access to the tools that give them the freedom and flexibility they need to develop creative projects, on any device, and from anywhere,” said Klaus Vossen, Senior Product Manager for CorelDRAW.
The release comes as the company behind Corel VideoStudio unveiled its new CorelDRAW Academy. Billed as a free e-learning resource for subscribers, the platform is, like the graphic suite’s new Canva-style templates, a space where users can expand their knowledge and hone their art.
Marvel Studios' Blade movie is in serious trouble, with multiple reports suggesting development has stalled two months before filming begins.
The Marvel Phase 5 project, which is currently slated to release in theaters in November 2023, was set to enter full production shortly. However, Blade is in danger of missing its launch date altogether after director Bassam Tariq left the superhero flick just two months before shooting was due to start, according to The Hollywood Reporter (THR).
In a statement provided to THR, Marvel said "continued shifts in our production schedule" was a major reason behind Tariq's departure. The Mogul Mowgli director is, however, still expected to be credited as an executive producer for the work he's conducted on the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie so far.
Speaking to THR, Tariq and Marvel thanked each other for putting in the hard yards. It seems, then, that the studio and director have parted on good terms. MCU insider BigScreenLeaks has speculated that Marvel has some big names lined up to succeed Tariq, but failed to disclose who they might be.

Tariq's departure is less than ideal, but it isn't the only dilemma that's given Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige a major headache.
According to industry insider Jeff Sneider, Blade's script is not in a good place. The Ankler reporter has claimed that the movie's screenplay is just 90 pages long and contains two lackluster action sequences.
Per Murphy's Multiverse, Beau DeMayo, whose previous credits include Netflix's TV adaptation of The Witcher, has been drafted in to rewrite the script. DeMayo has also penned scripts for Moon Knight on Disney Plus, as well as Marvel's forthcoming X-Men 97 animated series, so the film should be in good hands if he's involved. It's unclear if former scribe Stacey Osei-Kuffour is still on board with DeMayo being drafted in to spruce up the script.
Additionally, BigScreenLeaks and The Cosmic Circus' Lizzie Hill have claimed that Blade won't enter full production until January 2023 – just 10 months before it's supposed to be released. Meanwhile, a casting call put out by Angela Boehm Casting (thanks to Reddit for the find) states that filming won't begin until spring 2023, which could be any time between March and June. Not ideal preparation for a tentpole movie.
Given all of the above, it's unsurprising to learn that lead star Mahershala Ali is believed to be extremely frustrated over the new delays. The latest round of production hiccups come three months after we reported that Blade's production date had been pushed from July 2022 to October 2022. Sounds like the Marvel film is lacking some bite in many areas.
We've reached out to Disney and Marvel for comment on Osei-Kuffour's involvement moving forward, as well as the movie's expected filming start date. We'll update this article if we hear back.
Analysis: receiving the good news alongside the bad

Given the speculation surrounding Blade's production issues, it wasn't overly surprising to see some good news drop on the same day in the form of a Deadpool 3 update.
We already knew the Merc with a Mouth's MCU debut was on the way, with Kevin Feige confirming Deadpool would join Marvel's cinematic juggernaut back in January 2021. We've received a few important updates since, with lead actor Ryan Reynolds seen preparing for the physically-demanding role, and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick updating fans on how the script is progressing.
The biggest update, though, came via Reynolds yesterday (Tuesday, September 27), with the Canadian actor revealing Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine in Deadpool 3. Oh, and that the R-rated movie would arrive in theaters in September 2024.
Okay, that launch date is two years away, but it wouldn't be surprising if production on Deadpool 3 starts earlier than expected – or might even get its theatrical release moved up again.
As Marvel's statement to THR revealed, the studio's production schedule is forever shifting. If Blade's release date is pushed back in order to give it more time to be completed, the rest of Marvel's Phase 5 slate (and its first Phase 6 film, if that's where Deadpool 3 fits into proceedings) could be altered. That could mean Captain America: New World Order, Thunderbolts, and Deadpool 3 arriving in cinemas earlier than we thought.
Marvel has previous form for this kind of thing, with the studio swapping Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania's and The Marvels' 2023 release dates. Ant-Man 3 was further along the production pipeline than its Phase 5 sibling, hence the duo trading launch dates. So, if Blade isn't shooting until next spring, the likes of Cap 4 and Deadpool 3 might start filming earlier. If that ends up being the case, expect Marvel to announce any release date changes in the near future.
