Broadband deals
Finding the best broadband deal can be a bit of a minefield because there are so many options. Do you go for fibre broadband? Can you get 200Mbps cable broadband? Are you best off sticking with ADSL? Whatever service you currently have, we reckon we can get you a great broadband deal. It's important to bear in mind who your current phone provider is - do you already have Sky TV and phone, for example. Or a BT line? The easiest option could be to get Sky Fibre or BT Infinity respectively – or you could make a significant saving by signing up with someone completely different for both your phone and broadband (and you can even save more money by bolting on TV with Virgin, Sky or BT, too). Note that TalkTalk is planning to scrap separate line rental charges, so other providers could also follow suit in the coming months. When applying for new broadband deals, make sure you're not already signed up to a contract you can't get out of – most broadband contracts are on 12 or 18 month terms. Now let's get to the best broadband deals!
The best Broadband deals in May 2016
This is where we show you the very best broadband deals we've found this month – sorted by type of service as well as our overall favourite deal. Underneath you'll find the best three broadband deals for each of the main providers, sorted by fibre, ADSL and price.
TalkTalk Simply Broadband plus £100 Love2Shop Voucher | Unlimited | ADSL | 18 month contract | £17.70 line rental | Free monthly
Yes, this really is NOTHING per month for the whole of the 18 month contract – all you need to do is pay the £17.70 phone line rental each month. A pretty awesome deal, don't you think? For an extra £5 you can also get anytime UK landline and mobile calls. A free TalkTalk Super Router runs the show. Total cost per month is £17.70. (Love2Shop voucher has now expired).

You'll also get Virgin's Hub 3.0 to dish out the lovely 50Mbps of fibre speed to all your devices. Unlimited EE Broadband and Calls | Unlimited | ADSL | 12 month contract | £15.75 line rental if paid upfront | £1 monthly
This one is a cracker, too. £1 a month plus line rental. There is a slight catch; to get the best deal you'll need to pay the £15.75 per month line rental up front. That's £189 when you sign the contract and then £1 each month for the year. Even though you're effectively paying in advance, it's cheap for a year's broadband as we're sure you'd agree. Existing EE phone customers also get more mobile data as part of your package (usually 10GB per month). Total cost per month is £16.75 providing you pay the £189 line rental up front.
